Boozer out for Wednesday with sprained ankle
Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) – Cleveland Cavaliers forward Carlos Boozer
did not travel with the team for Wednesday’s game against the Washington
Wizards due to a sprained ankle.
Boozer rolled his right ankle in the first quarter of a 103-95 win over the
Los Angeles Clippers Tuesday night and did not return.
Last year’s second-round pick out of Duke, Boozer is averaging 12.1 points and
a team-leading 10.5 rebounds per game after compiling 10 points and 7.5 boards
a game in his rookie campaign.
Boozer is listed as day-to-day and hopes to be in the lineup when the Cavs
host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.
