Kidd to sit Saturday
East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) – New Jersey Nets point guard Jason Kidd
will miss Saturday’s game against Toronto because of a sprained knee.
By sitting Saturday, Kidd will have a week between games. The Nets last played
on Tuesday against New Orleans and won’t play again until the start of a five-
game western trip next Tuesday at Seattle.
Kidd underwent an MRI exam earlier this week and the results were negative.
In 11 games this season, Kidd is averaging 16.8 points and 9.6 assists.
