Clippers’ Richardson sprains ankle
Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) – Los Angeles Clippers guard Quentin
Richardson left Monday’s 105-90 loss to Houston with a sprained left ankle.
Richardson missed four straight shots before leaving the game at 3:23 in the
first quarter. After scoring a career-high 36 points at Minnesota on Saturday,
he had just one point in nine minutes against the Rockets.
The 23-year-old Richardson entered the game averaging 22.0 points per contest
to lead the team. He has spent all four of his NBA seasons in a Clippers
uniform since being drafted out of DePaul in 2000.
