Wizards’ Arenas to miss at least two games

Portland, OR (Sports Network) – Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas is not
expected to play in the team’s final two games of a road trip due to a lower
abdominal injury.

Arenas, Washington’s leading scorer, suffered the injury with just under five
minutes left in Sunday’s loss to the Seattle SuperSonics.

According to team officials, an x-ray of Arenas’ groin and lower abdominal
area showed that there were no muscles torn off the bone.

contract last summer, will be replaced by veteran Chris Whitney for Tuesday’s
