=== Minnesota Timberwolves Team Report – November 27 ===

(Sports Network) – The Minnesota Timberwolves were defeated Wednesday by the
New York Knicks, 97-92, at the Target Center.

Kevin Garnett scored 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the Wolves, who
have lost two straight. Sam Cassell added 23 points and dished out 10 assists.
Gary Trent added 15 points in 32 minutes of play. Fred Hoiberg was a pleasant
surprise for the Wolves as he added 13 points off the bench.

Latrell Sprewell, playing against the team he spent the last five seasons with
before being traded, struggled all night. Sprewell scored just 5 points on 2-
for-11 shooting.

Cassell kept the game close for the Wolves, as he drained a deep shot to close
the gap to 94-92 with 37 seconds left, but the Knicks and Allan Houston
answered right back. Houston’s jumper with 17 seconds left sealed the game.

Sprewell spent fives years with the Knicks before being traded to Minnesota.

The Timberwolves are off until Friday when they start a five-game road trip
against the Memphis Grizzlies.
