Utah’s Ostertag suspended one game
Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) – Utah Jazz center Greg Ostertag was
suspended one game by the team for an unspecified violation of team rules.
Ostertag will miss Utah’s Friday night game against the Seattle SuperSonics.
The Jazz would not comment on the suspension, but Ostertag and head coach
Jerry Sloan have been known to have a rocky relationship over the years.
The 7-foot-2, 280-pound pivot is in his ninth season in the NBA — all with
the Jazz. He currently leads the club in rebounding with 9.3 boards per game.
