Fortson suspended three games
New York, NY (Sports Network) – Dallas Mavericks forward Danny Fortson was
suspended three games without pay Friday due to a flagrant foul against
Phoenix forward Zarko Cabarkapa.
Fortson fouled the Suns’ rookie with 2:58 left in the fourth quarter of the
121-90 defeat on Wednesday night. He was immediately ejected from the game
after receiving a penalty two flagrant foul.
Cabarkapa broke his right wrist after being fouled while driving to the basket
and is expected to miss up to eight weeks.
Fortson will be eligible to return December 4 against the Los Angeles Lakers.
