(Sports Network) – The Philadelphia 76ers were defeated on Friday by the
Indiana Pacers, 90-77, at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Allen Iverson was held to 12 points on 4-of-19 shooting from the field for the
Sixers, who came into the contest off an emotional win. The Sixers beat
Detroit, 90-86, on Wednesday in the much awaited return of Larry Brown to the
Wachovia Center.

The Pacers went on a 13-1 run in the first quarter and they never looked back.
After the burst, Indiana led 21-9 en route to taking a 22-14 advantage into
the second frame. The Sixers hurt themselves early, only shooting 23 percent
from the floor in the opening 12 minutes.

In the second quarter, Indiana led by as many as 16. But the Sixers closed out
the first half with four straight points to cut the deficit to 50-38 at the
intermission.

The Pacers led by as many as 18 in the second half and Philadelphia never
threatened.

The Sixers were outrebounded 46-32 and shot just 41 percent from the field.

The 76ers host the Atlanta Hawks tonight.
