Warriors and Spurs to jump it up at the Arena

Oakland, CA (Sports Network) – The Golden State Warriors try to win their
fourth straight game tonight when they host Tim Duncan and the San Antonio
Spurs at the Arena.

Jason Richardson led all players with 25 points and 13 rebounds, as the Golden
State Warriors rolled to a 92-83 victory over the Phoenix Suns Friday at
America West Arena.

Richardson was 12-of-21 from the floor and led five Golden State players in
double figures.

Mike Dunleavy added 16 points, while Speedy Claxton and Nick Van Exel scored
12 apiece for the Warriors, who have won three straight on the heels of a
four-game slide. Erick Dampier chipped in 11 points and 11 boards.

Golden State is 6-3 at home this season.

The Spurs dropped a 103-87 decision to the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples
Center on Friday.

Manu Ginobili led the Spurs with 13 points and Tony Parker contributed 12, as
San Antonio had its two-game winning streak snapped.

San Antonio is 2-5 as the visitor this season.

The Spurs defeated the Warriors, 94-81, 11 days ago at San Antonio.

San Antonio has won four in a row over Golden State.

The Spurs have won 20 of 21 and 22 of the last 24 meetings with the Warriors.

Golden State has lost 12 straight at San Antonio.
