Orlando, FL (Sports Network) – Baron Davis and the New Orleans Hornets travel
to Orlando tonight to play the Magic at TD Waterhouse Centre in the first of a
home-and-home set.

New Orleans was defeated by the New York Knicks, 79-74, on Saturday at Madison
Square Garden.

Jamaal Magloire scored 12 points and hauled in 17 rebounds for the Hornets,
who failed to win their second straight contest. Davis added 13 points and
dished out 10 assists, while David Wesley contributed 16 points for New
Orleans.

The Hornets committed six of their 15 turnovers in the fourth quarter against
New York and shot a pathetic 32 percent from the field.

New Orleans is 5-4 on the road this season.

Orlando lost Friday when Vince Carter converted a fade-away jumper with 12.5
seconds to go to lift Toronto to an 87-86 win over the Magic at TD Waterhouse
Centre.

Tracy McGrady registered 31 points, including 18 in the fourth quarter, and
eight rebounds for the Magic, who have lost 15 straight, their second longest
streak in franchise history. Juwan Howard added 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Donnell Harvey finished with 11 points for the Magic, who dropped their ninth
straight home game

Orlando lost a franchise-record 17 straight games from December 4, 1991 to
January 7, 1992.

New Orleans defeated the Magic earlier this season. The Hornets took home a
100-98 victory at Orlando on October 30.

Overall, the Magic have won three of the last four meetings. These two teams
have split the last 14 contests.

The Hornets have won four of six and five of their last eight at Orlando.
