=== New Jersey Nets Team Report – December 4 ===

(Sports Network) – The New Jersey Nets continued to struggle Wednesday,
losing at home to the Memphis Grizzlies, 96-93.

Richard Jefferson, who converted a career-high 12 free throws, delivered 24
points and 10 rebounds for the Nets, who suffered their fourth straight loss.
Kenyon Martin added 20 points and eight rebounds in the loss.

New Jersey rallied from a 12-point deficit early in the fourth quarter and
held a 91-89 lead after a foul shot by Jason Kidd with 1:56 remaining. Kidd
finished with 11 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

But the team turned the ball over on four of its final five possessions, and
the Grizzlies took advantage. They scored six straight points to go ahead
95-91. Stromile Swift posted four of the points. Consecutive dunks by Swift
and James Posey capped the flurry.

Aaron Williams registered 11 points for Nets, who fell to 2-6 at home this
season.

The Nets are off until Friday when they host the Milwaukee Bucks.
