(Sports Network) – Boston wasted a 29-point lead on Friday in falling to the
Phoenix Suns, 110-106, at the FleetCenter.

Paul Pierce had 24 points while Vin Baker had 22 with nine rebounds for the
Celtics, losers of four straight. Eric Williams added a double-double with 16
points and 10 boards.

Stephon Marbury gave the Suns their first lead since the opening bucket when
he converted a layup with 6:05 to go to make it 90-88. He then made back-to-
back three pointers to give Phoenix the lead for good at 101-96 with 2:17

The Celtics, who fell to 4-6 on their home court this season, will begin a
brief two-game road trip on Sunday in Denver.
