(Sports Network) – The Washington Wizards will try and stop a four-game losing
streak tonight when they continue their four-game road trip in Milwaukee
against the Bucks at the Bradley Center.
On Friday, the Wizards found themselves on the wrong end of a 92-77 decision
to the Memphis Grizzlies. Christian Laettner scored 17 and Larry Hughes added
15 points for the Wizards, who have dropped the first two legs of their trip.
The Maryland Terrapin tandem of Steve Blake and Juan Dixon combined for 23
points in 42 total minutes off the bench. Blake finished with 12 points on 5-
of-8 shooting, while Dixon had 11 points while hitting 5-of-10 shot attempts.
Wizards’ starters combined to hit on just 8-of-40 shots from the field.
Washington, which shot just 34.6 percent from the floor, trailed by 20 at
halftime and were down 68-52 heading into the fourth quarter.
The closest Washington came was 76-69 when Blake drained a three-pointer with
5:18 remaining on the clock. But the Grizzlies followed that with five
straight points to go back ahead by double digits, and the outcome was never
