=== San Antonio Spurs Team Report – January 17 ===

(Sports Network) – The San Antonio Spurs fell to the Indiana
Pacers, 89-79, on Friday at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Tim Duncan scored 16 points and hauled in seven boards for the Spurs, who have
dropped three straight contests following a four-game winning streak. Tony
Parker chipped in 14 points in the losing effort.

“The Pacers played a great game tonight,” said San Antonio head coach Gregg
Popovich. “We were inconsistent and played in spurts. They were the more
aggressive team.”

San Antonio connected on 5-of-16 (31 percent) from beyond the arc in the loss.

The Spurs, who fell to 10-9 on the road, are off until Sunday when they visit
the Boston Celtics.
