(Sports Network) – The Minnesota Timberwolves had their five-game winning
streak halted on Saturday, falling to the Houston Rockets, 95-76, at the
Toyota Center.

Sam Cassell scored 25 points to pace the Timberwolves.

Kevin Garnett finished with 19 points, seven rebounds and six assists for the
Timberwolves, while Latrell Sprewell ended with 13 points and Trenton
Hassell chipped in with 11 in the loss.

Minnesota hit at a 37-percent clip (29-of-79) from the field, going 6-of-16
from beyond the arc. The Timberwolves were 12-of-16 from the free throw line.

“We got kicked, and that’s all you can say about it,” said Timberwolves head
coach Flip Saunders. “They came out and dominated us from beginning to end.”

The Timberwolves are off until Monday when they host Baron Davis and the New
Orleans Hornets.
