(Sports Network) – The Milwaukee Bucks fell to the Orlando Magic, 106-99, on
Monday at the TD Waterhouse Centre.

The Bucks were led by Joe Smith’s 19 points, while Michael Redd and Desmond

Trailing 96-82 with 2:57 left in the contest, the Bucks used a 14-2 flurry to
pull within a basket at 98-96. The run was keyed by a Redd three-pointer with
25 seconds left.

Juwan Howard then knocked down two free throws to push the Magic cushion to
100-96 with 24 seconds left. The Bucks still had a chance to pull out the win,
but it ended when T.J. Ford turned the ball over on the team’s next
possession. Ford had three turnovers in the contest and ended with just five
points on 2-of-6 shooting.

Tracy McGrady, who stole Ford’s baseline pass, glided in for a dunk that
sealed the victory.

Redd has scored in double digits in 15 straight games and is averaging 20.8
points per game over the last four contests.
