Toronto activates Palacio; places Curry on IL
Toronto, ON (Sports Network) – The Toronto Raptors on Tuesday activated guard
Milt Palacio and placed forward Michael Curry on the injured list with bone
chips in his right elbow.
Curry, who has started 13 of the 39 games he has appeared in this season, is
expected to undergo surgery next week and will be sidelined for an indefinite
period of time. Curry is averaging 2.8 points and 1.2 rebounds per contest.
Palacio suffered a minor fracture in his left wrist in Toronto’s January 4
contest against Phoenix. He sat out two games before getting placed on the IL,
and missed another seven contests.
Palacio will be in uniform when the Raptors host Minnesota tonight.
