(Sports Network) – Tracy McGrady poured in a game-high 33 points and pulled
down 10 rebounds, as the Orlando Magic snapped a nine-game road losing streak
with a 98-93 victory over Philadelphia on Friday at the Wachovia Center.

Gordan Giricek added 19 points off the bench and Juwan Howard scored 17 with
13 boards, as the Magic won for the second time in three games. Keith Bogans
chipped in 13 points.

Philadelphia pulled within 87-84 with just under three minutes remaining on a
Kyle Korver three, but McGrady answered by scoring four straight points. With
its leading rebounder, Kenny Thomas, in the locker room, the Sixers had no
answer underneath and let the game slip away.

Point guard Tyronn Lue, who missed the last game-and-a-half because of a
strained butt muscle, returned to the starting lineup to face Allen Iverson.
He had seven points and six assists, but he left early because of foul

The Magic will return to action at home Sunday against the Houston Rockets,
but they follow with games at Cleveland and Washington, two teams that also
have struggled this season.
