(Sports Network) – Dirk Nowitzki scored 20 and pulled down 12 rebounds, and
Steve Nash added 21 points with 13 assists, as the Dallas Mavericks extended
their winning streak to eight games with a 108-99 victory over the Sacramento
Kings on Sunday at American Airlines Center.

Michael Finley paced the Mavericks with 23 points, while Antoine Walker added
17 in Dallas’ ninth win in 11 games.

Dallas held a slim 76-75 lead entering the fourth quarter, and later led by as
many as eight in the stanza, but allowed the Kings to pull even at 97-97 late
in the game.

However, the Mavericks outscored Sacramento 11-2 over the final two minutes of
play for the win. Nash scored the final six points for Dallas, all from the
free throw line, and Nowitzki added a key three-point play.

Dallas has topped the 100-point mark in 14 of its last 17 games.

Nash is averaging 9.3 assists in the last three games, while Nowitzki has
scored in double digits in 17 straight contests.

The Mavs are off until Tuesday when they visit Ray Allen and the Seattle
SuperSonics.
