=== Detroit Pistons Team Report – January 26 ===

(Sports Network) – The Detroit Pistons found themselves on the wrong end of
a 91-82 decision against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday at the Palace.

Corliss Williamson tied a season-high with 20 points off the bench for the
Pistons, who had their nine-game home winning streak snapped and lost their
third straight overall. Ben Wallace added 14 points and 15 rebounds, while
Richard Hamilton scored 11 points.

After the Pistons pulled within 72-63 on a jumper by Hamilton early in the
fourth quarter, Atlanta scored seven of the next nine points. A
three-pointer by Dan Dickau with 9:28 to go put the team ahead 79-65.

Detroit got no closer than the final margin.

Ben Wallace (831) passed Bill Laimbeer for third place on Detroit’s all-time
blocks list.

The Pistons return to the court on Wednesday against the Boston Celtics.
