Cavs activate guard Bremer

Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) – The Cleveland Cavaliers Monday activated
guard J.R. Bremer, while placing center Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje on the injured
list with a sprained ankle.

Acquired in a trade last summer from Boston, Bremer had been struggling from
the field by shooting just 29 percent from the floor. He had been on the IL
for the previous five contests.

Bremer made 101 three-pointers as a rookie with Boston last season.

Boumtje-Boumtje has yet to play in a game with the Cavs since coming over
from Portland in last week’s deal.
