(Sports Network) – Tim Thomas scored 22 points and Michael Redd added 21,
as the Milwaukee Bucks defeated San Antonio, 93-92, in a back-and- forth
battle at the Bradley Center.

The game came down to the final possession, as Tim Duncan drove the lane and
threw down a slam dunk at the buzzer for what looked like a San Antonio win.
However, the referees reviewed the play and ruled that the play clock read
double-zero and the red light went off before the ball left Duncan’s hands.

Desmond Mason chipped in with 14 points in the win, as Milwaukee won its third
straight overall and 13 of its last 14 home games. Brian Skinner posted a
double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

After a Thomas free throw brought the Spurs to within one, Manu Ginobli threw
the ball away on an inbounds pass on the Spurs following possession. Redd then
came down the floor, drove the lane and put a running floater over Duncan
for a 93-92 advantage with 21 seconds left.

Duncan tried a fadeaway jumper, but Joe Smith came from the side and blocked
it out of bounds with only two seconds remaining. Parker inbounded the pass to
Duncan, whose last second attempt was too late.

The Bucks, who are 10-3 in January, will return to action on Wednesday against
the New Orleans Hornets.
