Washington, DC (Sports Network) – The Washington Wizards continue their
seven-game homestand tonight when they welcome Shawn Marion and the Phoenix
Suns to the MCI Center.

Washington, which is 1-2 on its current homestand, comes into tonight’s game
having lost two straight.

On Wednesday, the Wizards found themselves on the losing end of a 104-100
decision against the Orlando Magic at the MCI Center. Larry Hughes, who missed
the Wizards’ loss to Portland on Monday because of a flareup of tendinitis in
his right knee, scored 21 points to lead Washington.

Juan Dixon finished with 20 points and Kwame Brown contributed 15 points and
15 rebounds in Wednesday’s loss.

The Wizards are 9-12 at home this season.

Phoenix plays the fourth of a five-game road trip tonight. The Suns are 1-2 on
the current swing.

The Suns were crushed by the Indiana Pacers, 101-79, on Wednesday at Conseco
Fieldhouse. Joe Johnson led the Phoenix with 23 points in the loss, while
Marion contributed 16 points and seven boards.

Phoenix, which has lost four of its last five overall, is just 6-19 on the
road this season.

In 2002-03, the teams split a pair of contests as each club won on its
homecourt.

Overall, Washington has won four its last six games with the Suns. Phoenix has
lost three straight and five of its last six at Washington.
