(Sports Network) – Dirk Nowitzki scored 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to
lead the Dallas Mavericks past the New York Knicks, 105-90, at American
Airlines Center.

Michael Finley collected 25 points and 10 boards for the Mavericks, who have
won 13 of their last 16 contests. Josh Howard matched a career-high with 17
points and also pulled down eight rebounds for Dallas. Antoine Walker
contributed 14 points and 10 boards in the win.

Walker, who posted his team-high 22nd double-double of the season, also tied a
career high with four blocked shots

The game remained tight, before Nowitzki converted a three-point play to
ignite a 17-4 burst over a 4 1/2-minute span that staked Dallas to a
commanding 104-88 advantage with 35.6 seconds remaining.

The Mavs, who are 8-2 in games played on Tuesday this season, have won seven
of their last eight at home and are a remarkable 23-4 as the host this season.
