NBA suspends Knicks’ Thomas one game

New York, NY (Sports Network) – The NBA on Wednesday suspended New York
Knicks forward Kurt Thomas one game without pay for his actions during
Tuesday’s loss at Dallas.

Thomas head-butted Mavericks forward Josh Howard after he was whistled for an
offensive foul with 6:07 remaining in the second quarter. Dallas then went on
for a 105-90 victory.

Thomas, a Dallas native, was ejected for the first time since January 8, 2002
against New Orleans. The 31-year-old will miss Wednesday’s contest versus,
ironically, the Hornets
