(Sports Network) – Memphis recorded an impressive 109-92 victory over the
Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night.

James Posey finished with 19 points and seven rebounds to lead the Grizzlies
to the win. Stromile Swift contributed 18 points and seven boards for the
Grizzlies, who earned their second straight win overall and their fourth
straight victory at home.

Pau Gasol posted 17 points while Jason Williams added 11 points and eight
assists in the win. The Grizzlies equaled their franchise high for home
victories with 20.

Memphis put the game on ice by outscoring the Mavericks, 28-18, in the fourth

The Grizzlies also moved nine games over .500 for the first time in franchise
history and gave Hubie Brown his 400th win as an NBA coach.

Memphis guard Mike Miller left the contest in the third quarter with back
spasms. Miller has struggled with back spasms for a while.

The Grizzlies won both home games against the Mavericks, assuring them of
recording a series split for the first time in history.

Memphis has a couple of days off before hosting Phoenix Friday night.
