=== Los Angeles Clippers Team Report – February 19 ===

(Sports Network) – The Los Angeles Clippers try to put the brakes on a five-
game losing streak tonight as they welcome Paul Pierce and the Boston Celtics
to the Staples Center.

This is the final meeting of the season between these two squads. On February
4, the Clippers defeated the Celtics, 95-86, at the FleetCenter. With the win,
the Clippers snapped a seven-game series losing streak.

The Clippers return home after going 3-6 on a season-high nine-game road trip.

On Wednesday, the Clippers fell to the Portland Trail Blazers, 101-86, at the
Rose Garden. Corey Maggette finished with 23 points for Los Angeles and Elton
Brand had a strong game in defeat, scoring 19 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
Chris Kaman pitched in with 14 points for the Clippers, who have dropped eight
of their last 12 contests.

Quentin Richardson added 20 points on 7-of-18 shooting in defeat. The Clippers
have lost nine games in a row at Portland and have not won there since April
11, 1999.

The Clippers are 15-11 as the host this season.
