=== Detroit Pistons Team Report – February 19 ===

(Sports Network) – The Pistons put an end to their recent struggles
Wednesday night, downing the Milwaukee Bucks, 102-98, at the Palace of Auburn
Hills.

Richard Hamilton spurred the Pistons to the win with 23 points, while
Chauncey Billups added 20 points and seven assists for the Pistons. Detroit
halted a season-long, six-game skid.

Corliss Williamson added 15 points and Ben Wallace contributed 11 points, 15
boards and eight blocks in the win. Mehmet Okur scored 11 in the victory.

Detroit was in the midst of its longest skid since the club dropped seven
straight from February 21 to March 2, 2003.

The Pistons are 11-3 in their last 14 home games. Detroit won the season
series with the Bucks, 3-1.

Detroit trailed by 13 after one, but began the second quarter on an 11-0 burst
to pull within two points. Bob Sura scored the first five points and the
Pistons then netted three straight jumpers by Hamilton, Wallace and Williamson
to climb within 33-31.

The Pistons grabbed a 38-37 lead on Billups’ three-pointer moments later and
extended the cushion to five late in the half. Detroit went into the locker
room with a 50-47 advantage.

Detroit closed out the third quarter on a 13-2 spurt to seize a 76-61 lead
after 36 minutes and never looked back.

Detroit will have a day off before returning to the court against Minnesota at
the Palace on Friday.

The Pistons could have a much different look to their roster by the trade
deadline, as they are looking to acquire Rasheed Wallace from Atlanta for a
package of players.
