Raptors’ Carter sidelined with ankle injury
Toronto, ON (Sports Network) – Toronto Raptors All-Star swingman Vince
Carter suffered an ankle injury during Wednesday’s contest against San Antonio
and will be sidelined indefinitely.
Carter sustained a moderate sprain of the left ankle in the fourth quarter
when he landed awkwardly after a jump shot.
In 50 games this season, he is averaging a team-high 21.2 points to go along
with 4.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists per contest.
Meanwhile, rookie center Chris Bosh re-injured his left ankle during the 86-82
setback against the Spurs and is listed as day-to-day. He is averaging 10.9
points and 7.2 boards per outing.
