Suns activate McDyess

Memphis, TN (Sports Network) – The Phoenix Suns activated forward Antonio
McDyess from the injured list on Friday.

The 29-year-old McDyess had spent the last 15 games on the IL with left knee,
quadriceps tendinitis.

McDyess has played in 22 games this season, including four for the Suns since
being acquired from New York in the trade that sent guard Stephon Marbury
to the Knicks. McDyess has averaged 7.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per contest
this year.

The Suns play the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday at The Pyramid and McDyess is
expected to be in uniform.

Meanwhile, Phoenix waived forward/center Ben Handlogten, who was acquired in
a trade with the Utah Jazz on Thursday.
