(Sports Network) – Jason Richardson paced the Golden State with 24 points
to lead the Warriors to a 94-92 win over the Seattle SuperSonics at The Arena
in Oakland.

Brian Cardinal chipped in 21 points and nine rebounds for Golden State, which
snapped a two-game losing streak. Erick Dampier posted a double-double with 14
points and 16 rebounds in the win.

The lead changed hands five times in the final 4:48 of the contest.

Seattle went up 87-86 with 1:20 to go on a pair of free throws from Ronald
Murray. However, that was the last time the Sonics held the lead as Golden
State scored the next six points, kick-started by a Clifford Robinson three
from the baseline, to go up 92-87 with 30 seconds left.

Antonio Daniels converted a three-point play for Seattle with 15 seconds
remaining to stop the Warriors’ spurt. Nick Van Exel was fouled immediately,
but made just 1-of-2 free throws, giving Seattle an opportunity to tie the
game.

Vladimir Radmanovic fired up what appeared to be a tying three-pointer with a
second left in the game, but the officials ruled that his toe was on the line.

Van Exel was fouled again and made another free throw to seal the win for
Golden State.

The Warriors are off until Tuesday when they start a four-game road trip in
Indiana against the Pacers.
