(Sports Network) – The Chicago Bulls lost to the Memphis Grizzlies, 105-98,
on Saturday at the United Center.

Kirk Hinrich scored 25 points and handed out nine assists for the Bulls, who
have dropped two straight contests following two straight wins. Marcus Fizer
added 21 points and nine boards in the setback.

Memphis led 76-72 after three quarters, but quickly widened the gap to 83-76
on Jason Williams’ basket with eight minutes remaining. The lead rose to 10
points moments later on a three-pointer by Williams and the Grizzlies extended
the cushion to 14 points with around four minutes remaining.

Chicago never seriously threatened the rest of the game. The Bulls fell to
2-19 when they allow more than 100 points this season.

Hinrich, who is a rookie, has scored in double digits in four straight and six
of his last seven games. He is averaging 18.8 points and 8.8 assists in his
last four contests.

Chicago fell to a dismal 6-21 on the road this season.

The Bulls are off until Wednesday when they host Rasheed Wallace and the
Detroit Pistons.
