(Sports Network) – The Boston Celtics were crushed by the Seattle
SuperSonics, 108-87, on Sunday at KeyArena.

Boston suffered its 12th loss in 13 outings. The Celtics are now just 1-11
under interim head coach John Carroll, finishing their seven-game road trip
with a single victory.

All-Star guard Paul Pierce led Celtics with 34 points on 9-of-20 shooting from
the field, while Ricky Davis and Mark Blount finished with 12 points apiece in
the loss.

Seattle carried a nine-point lead into the fourth quarter and put the game
away by hitting eight of its final 11 shot from beyond the arc. Rookie Luke
Ridnour scored 13 of his 15 points in the period. The Sonics led by as many as
23 points late in the contest.

Pierce has scored in double digits in 55 of Boston’s 58 games this season. In
his last four contests, Pierce is averaging 22.5 points, five rebounds and 3.8

The Celtics are off until Wednesday when they host the Milwaukee Bucks.
Boston is 1-2 against the Bucks this season.
