=== Detroit Pistons Team Report – February 24 ===

(Sports Network) – Ben Wallace tallied 12 points, 13 rebounds and six
blocks to lead the Detroit Pistons over the Philadelphia 76ers, 76-66, on
Monday in Larry Brown’s second visit to the Wachovia Center since stepping
down as Sixers’ coach after last season.

Richard Hamilton added 15 points for the Pistons, who snapped a two-game skid.
For the first time in three games since coming to Detroit, Brown defeated his
former team.

In another homecoming to Philadelphia, Rasheed Wallace, who grew up in the
city, recorded 10 points and 11 boards.

The NBA announced on Monday that the Pistons have been fined $200,000 for
using two ineligible players during their loss to Minnesota on February 20.
Rasheed Wallace and Mike James played in the first half of the contest despite
the certification of the trade not being officially signed. Upon hearing the
news at halftime that the February 19 trade involving Detroit, Boston and
Atlanta was not complete, coach Brown removed both players from the game to
avoid further complicating the situation.

Rasheed Wallace is averaging 12 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three
blocks in 36.5 minutes per night in his last two games for the Pistons.

Detroit is off until Wednesday when it visits Central Division rival Chicago.
The Pistons are 2-0 against the Bulls this season.
