Suns put Clark on IL
Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) – Phoenix Suns forward Keon Clark was placed on
the injured list Tuesday.
Clark, who has missed most of the season after ankle surgery, joined the Suns
last week in a trade with Utah. The Jazz traded Clark and center Ben
Handlogten to the Suns for forward Tom Gugliotta, two conditional first-round
draft picks, a 2005 second-round draft pick and an undisclosed sum of cash.
The 6-foot-11 Clark arrived in Salt Lake City from Sacramento during the
offseason. His first season in Utah, however, was slowed by the ankle injury
that limited him to just two games.
Clark has career averages of 8.2 points and 5.9 rebounds with four NBA teams.
