NBA fines Stackhouse

New York, NY (Sports Network) – Washington Wizards forward Jerry Stackhouse
was fined $5,000 by the NBA on Tuesday for his antics during Sunday’s game
against Milwaukee.

After being ejected in the third quarter of a 113-85 loss to the Bucks,
Stackhouse threw the basketball in the stands in a show of frustration over a
foul call. Stackhouse finished with just seven points in the setback.

The Wizards’ leading scorer last year, Stackhouse underwent surgery on his
right knee back on October 21. He saw his first action of the season on
February 1. In nine games this season, Stackhouse is averaging 13.9 points
with 3.7 rebounds.
