Sonics’ Allen fined $10,000

New York, NY (Sports Network) – Seattle guard Ray Allen was fined $10,000 for
his comments following the SuperSonics’ 94-92 win over Golden State on

Allen harshly criticized the officials despite his team pulling out the
victory in Oakland. He finished the night 2-of-10 from the floor with just
eight points, and was not happy after getting called for an offensive foul
late in the contest.

The All-Star guard, who came to Seattle in a trade last year, is averaging
22.6 points per game, ninth best in the NBA.
