Bulls activate Gill from IL

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) – The Chicago Bulls activated veteran guard
Kendall Gill from the injured list on Thursday.

Gill was placed on the IL with a strained right Achilles tendon after
suffering the injury in the fourth quarter of a 106-93 loss to Dallas on
January 23.

The 6-foot-5, 216-pounder had played in 43 games before his injury — starting
34 — averaging 10.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.

The 35-year-old missed 14 games with the injury.

To make room on the active roster for Gill, the Bulls placed forward Chris
Jefferies on the injured list with lower back pain. Jefferies is averaging 3.6
points in 16 games with the Bulls and Raptors this season.
