Golden State Warriors Team Report – February 28

=== Golden State Warriors Team Report – February 28 ===

(Sports Network) – The Golden State Warriors will try and get back on the
winning track this evening when they conclude their four-game road trip
against the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.

The Warriors slipped to 1-2 on their trek on Friday with a 91-81 setback to
the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center. Erick Dampier scored 24
points and grabbed a game-high 19 rebounds, while Jason Richardson netted 18
points in the losing effort.

Golden State was without point guard Speedy Claxton, who injured his hand in
Wednesday’s win over the Memphis Grizzlies. The 25-year-old Claxton has a
fractured metacarpal bone in his right hand and will be sidelined a minimum of
three weeks.

The Warriors, who have dropped four of their last six overall, are 6-1 in
games played on Saturday this season, but are 7-22 away from home this season.

Chicago lost to Golden State earlier in the season, but could have the
advantage tonight, as the home team in this series has won the last five
meetings. The Warriors have also lost two straight and eight of their last 10
in the Windy City.
