Sacramento Kings Team Report – February 28

=== Sacramento Kings Team Report – February 28 ===

(Sports Network) – The Sacramento Kings were denied their fifth consecutive
win on Friday, as they found themselves on the wrong end of a 102-97 decision
against the Utah Jazz at ARCO Arena.

Mike Bibby netted 26 points for the Kings, who fell for just the second time
in their last 10 games. The Kings had won their previous three encounters this
season with Utah and a win on Friday, would have given them their second
season-series sweep over Utah in the last three years.

The Kings led 71-68 after 36 minutes, but were outscored 34-26 in the final

Sacramento trailed the majority of the fourth, but still had a chance to tie
it with a three-pointer with three seconds remaining, bit Peja Stojakovic’s
shot bounced off the rim.

Sacramento was again without All-Star center Brad Miller, who missed his sixth
straight game with an ankle injury he sustained in the All-Star game.

Miller, though, could return on Sunday when the Kings welcome the Phoenix
Suns to town. Also expected back for that contest is forward Chris Webber, who
will be serving the final game of his eight-game suspension tonight for lying
to a federal grand jury.

The Kings have won three of four and 10 of their last 13 games at home and
are 25-5 at home this season.

Sacramento has already beaten the Suns twice this season and could have the
advantage on Sunday, as the home team in this series has won six of seven and
nine of the last 11 matchups.
