(Sports Network) – Jermaine O’Neal had 23 points and seven rebounds to lead
the Indiana Pacers past the Philadelphia 76ers, 81-74, at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Al Harrington added 21 points and nine boards, while Fred Jones scored 12
points off the bench for the Pacers, who have won four of their last five
games.

Reggie Miller had just two points in 19 minutes, while Jeff Foster netted only
four points in 22 minutes for the Pacers, who missed on all but three of their
19 attempts from beyond the arc. …

O’Neal also had one block to extend his streak with at least one rejection to
36.

Jonathan Bender missed the game for the Pacers, as he attended a funeral
service in Mississippi on Friday. Bender will rejoin the team today and
accompany it on its four-game Western trip.

With the win , Indiana had its lead in the Central Division raised to seven
games over the idle Detroit Pistons. It also holds a six-game advantage over
the New Jersey Nets for the best record in the East.

The Pacers, who will hit the road for four games following tonight’s tilt,
have won seven of eight and 13 of their last 15 games at home and improved to
24-6 in Indiana this season.

Indiana, which will kick of its trek in Golden State on Tuesday, has won three
of four and nine of its last 13 games on the road and is 19-10 away from home
this season.

The Pacers defeated Golden State earlier in the year and have won six of the
last nine meetings. Indiana, though, has dropped two straight in Oakland, but
is 4-2 in its last six trips to the Bay Area.
