=== Philadelphia 76ers Team Report – February 29 ===

(Sports Network) – The injury-riddled Philadelphia 76ers will try and halt a
four-game losing streak this evening when they welcome the Minnesota
Timberwolves to the Wachovia Center.

Playing without Allen Iverson and Glenn Robinson on Saturday, the Sixers found
themselves on the wrong end of an 81-74 decision against the Eastern
Conference-leading Indiana Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Kenny Thomas led the way for the Sixers with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Rookie
Willie Green had 16 points and Samuel Dalembert netted 15 with 13 boards, as
Philadelphia fell for the fifth time in its last six games.

Despite all their struggles and injuries, the Sixers are just two games behind
Miami for the final postseason berth.

Philadelphia will likely again be without Iverson, who has missed the last
three games with a shoulder injury. Robinson, who has been hampered with an
elbow injury, could return tonight and will be a gametime decision.

The Sixers, who are winless in six games played on Sunday this season, have
lost seven of their last 10 at home and are 13-15 in their arena this season.

Philadelphia lost the T-Wolves earlier in the year, but could have the
advantage tonight, as the home team in this series has won five straight
meetings. Minnesota, though, has won six of its last nine in the City of
Brotherly Love.
