Golden State Warriors Team Report – February 29

=== Golden State Warriors Team Report – February 29 ===

(Sports Network) – The Golden State Warriors found themselves on the wrong
end of an 87-81 overtime decision against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday at the
United Center,

Jason Richardson scored 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Warriors,
who have lost two straight games. Erick Dampier added 16 points and 12
rebounds while Brian Cardinal chipped in 14 points and 14 rebounds in the
setback.

Golden State was again without point guard Speedy Claxton, who injured his
hand in Wednesday’s win over the Memphis Grizzlies. The 25-year-old
Claxton has a fractured metacarpal bone in his right hand and will be
sidelined a minimum of three weeks.

The Warriors, who have dropped five of their last seven overall, fell to
7-22 away from home this season.

Golden State will return to action on Tuesday when they welcome the Eastern
Conference-leading Indiana Pacers to the Arena. The Warriors lost to Indiana
earlier in the year and has dropped six of the last nine meetings. Indiana,
though, has dropped two straight in Oakland, but is 4-2 in its last six trips
to the Bay Area.
