(Sports Network) – Tony Parker led five players in double figures with 29
points, as the San Antonio Spurs dismantled the Denver Nuggets, 117-92, on
Saturday at the SBC Center.

Rasho Nesterovic had 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Spurs, who placed All-
Star forward Tim Duncan on the injured list prior to the game with irritation
of the left patellofemoral joint in his leg.

Duncan, who was injured Thursday in a loss to Dallas, will undergo treatment
to strengthen his left quadriceps muscles. He underwent an MRI exam on Friday.
In 54 games this season, Duncan is averaging 23.2 points and 13.0 rebounds per
contest, both team-highs.

Malik Rose and Kevin Willis both had 17 points, while Hedo Turkoglu added 12
for San Antonio, which has won three of its last four games.

San Antonio, which will close its stand on Monday against Memphis, has won 13
of its last 17 games at home and is 20-7 in its arena this season.

The Spurs have split their two matchups with Memphis this season, but have won
23 of 25 and 24 of the last 27 meetings in the series. They have also won 11
of their last 12 against the Grizzlies in San Antonio.
