(Sports Network) – Phoenix came up short Sunday night, dropping a 108-94
loss to the Sacramento Kings at ARCO Arena.

Amare Stoudemire tied a season high with 33 points, on 10-of-19 shooting from
the field, and hauled in 17 rebounds before fouling out for the Suns, who
suffered their eight straight loss in Sacramento and fell for the first time
in three games overall.

Stoudemire has led the Suns in scoring the past nine games, getting 20 points
or more each time.

Leandro Barbosa and Shawn Marion each contributed 14 points. Marion added nine
rebounds for the Suns, who have just one win in their last eight road games.
