Bulls waive Corie Blount

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) – The Chicago Bulls waived forward/center Corie
Blount on Tuesday, just three days after putting him on the injured list.

Blount was hurt during a team scrimmage on Friday when teammate Eddie Curry
fell on him. Blount sprained both his left knee and ankle. He was placed on
the injured list on Saturday.

Blount appeared in 46 games this season with Chicago, including three starts.
He averaged 4.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. The Bulls roster now stands
at 14 players.
