No Kidd in Denver
Denver, CO (Sports Network) – New Jersey point guard Jason Kidd missed
Tuesday’s 95-91 win over the Denver Nuggets.
The All-Star is hampered with a bone bruise in his injured left knee and is
listed as day-to-day.
Lucious Harris, Kidd’s replacement, finished with eight points and nine
assists for the Nets.
The 30-year-old Kidd has been hampered with the injury for more than a
week. He played 28 minutes in Sunday’s 100-83 loss to the Los Angeles
Lakers, recording 10 points and three assists.
Kidd, arguably the best point guard in the NBA, was forced to leave Sunday’s
loss with less than three minutes remaining in the third quarter.
The California product is averaging 16.5 points, 9.4 assists and 6.8 rebounds
in 57 games this season.
