(Sports Network) – The New Jersey Nets play the second of a four-game road
trip tonight as they visit the Phoenix Suns at America West Arena.

This is the second and final meeting of the season between the two squads. On
December 6, 2003, the Nets knocked off the Suns, 99-88, at Continental
Airlines Arena.

In their first game of the road swing, Kerry Kittles finished with 34 points
to lead the Nets to a 95-91 win over the Denver Nuggets at the Pepsi Center.
Kittles converted 13-of-20 shots from the field in the win and connected on 7-
of-8 from the line

Kenyon Martin posted 22 points and eight rebounds in the win for the Nets, who
were without All-Star guard Jason Kidd, but won for the second time in three

Kidd, who is suffering from a bone bruise in his left knee, is also expected
to miss tonight’s game . The Nets are hopeful that their starting point guard
can return on Friday against the Golden State Warriors.

New Jersey is 7-0 when it scores at least 100 points this season. The Nets
have allowed only 100 points five times (1-4).

The Nets are 16-13 as the visitor this season.

Martin has scored in double digits in 19 of his last 20 games. He is averaging
19.5 points and 11.7 rebounds in the last six contests.
