Cavs sign Nailon; release Bremer

Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) – The Cleveland Cavaliers Wednesday signed
forward Lee Nailon to a 10-day contract and released guard J.R. Bremer.

Nailon played in 35 games this season with Atlanta and Orlando and averaged
4.9 points and 2.2 rebounds. He has played in 194 career games with averages
of 7.2 points and 2.7 rebounds.

Nailon, 29, had his best season in 2001-02 when he averaged 10.8 points and
3.7 rebounds in 79 games playing for the Charlotte Hornets.

Bremer, acquired from Boston on July 29, 2003 with Bruno Sundov and a future
second round pick in exchange for Jumaine Jones, averaged 3.5 points and 1.3
assists in 31 games this season.

The Cavaliers also placed guard Kedrick Brown on the injured list with left
knee tendinitis.
