Chicago Bulls Team Report – March 4

=== Chicago Bulls Team Report – March 4 ===

(Sports Network) – The Chicago Bulls had their two-game winning streak
stopped in dramatic fashion on Wednesday with a 100-97 setback to the New
Orleans Hornets

Jamal Crawford poured in a game-high 34 points and hit a three-pointer in the
final seconds of overtime that tied the game for the Bulls, who fell for the
fifth time in their last seven games.

Crawford had a chance to win it at the end of regulation, but he ran the clock
down and his last-second shot fell short, sending the game into overtime tied
at 91-91.

A three-pointer by Crawford with 9.8 seconds left in overtime tied the game at
97-97, but the Hornets saved the heroics for one final shot. Jamal Mashburn
received the ball at the top of the key and knocked down a turnaround three-
pointer just as the buzzer sounded to give New Orleans the three-point
overtime win.

The Bulls have lost three straight and 12 of their last 13 as the visitor and
are 6-20 away from home this season.

Kirk Hinrich, who finished with 12 points, has scored in double digits in nine
straight games.

Chicago will wrap up their brief two-game road trip on Saturday against the
Philadelphia 76ers.
